My focus includes relational struggles, anxiety, the complexities of C- PTSD, the experiences of adult children of emotionally immature or controlling parents, the cycles of addiction and codependency, and the intricacies of OCD tendencies.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that within each of us lies an inner compass guiding us toward healing, no matter how turbulent the path may seem. This belief is at the heart of my approach: I am relational and nurturing, blending gentle assertiveness with humor and authenticity. My hope is that our sessions will be a space where you feel seen, uncovering insights that bring you both relief and deeper introspection. Together, I hope we can find moments of levity even as we navigate what feels heavy. I have a great respect for traditional talk therapy and it is my great pleasure to navigate this realm with clients.

I have 1 opening at this time (10/30/24). Have you spent years in 'talk therapy', without seeing much change? It’s probably time to try something new. Psychologists are learning there's a better way to heal. Deep wounds can't be reached with talk-therapy alone. We must heal in a multidimensional way. We'll take a gentle, deep look at the sub-conscious imprints in the body, heart and soul levels to find where the pain lies. You and I will gently pave the way to clear them. Master therapist with 15 years clinical experience. For adult individual work. Sessions are 65 minutes long, with free text check-ins 24/7. Insurance is accepted!

Personal distress has many sources: difficult circumstances, lack of fulfillment, relationship struggles, painful past, and barriers to better behavior. And distress shows up in many forms: anxiety, depression, anger, destructive acting out, substance abuse, and physical symptoms. It is difficult for us to view ourselves with objectivity. Family and friends, though well meaning, often have their own agendas. An educated and confidential third party can be the answer. Drawing from many therapeutic traditions and years of experience, I will help you understand and make corrections to your life that promote growth and happiness.

Hi, So as a Certified Life Coach one of my main goals is to help you move forward in your life; and to understand what it is that's been preventing that. Some of the main tools I utilize in my coaching are Empathic Listening and Energy Psychology. Energy Psychology is a blend of spiritual practices and psychology. One of the core belief's I work from is that our conscious and sub-conscious negative feelings, ideas, beliefs and emotions affect our ability to access our unique inner power, strength's, gifts and talents and move forward within our lives with enjoyment.

Hardly anybody I know aspires to be that average, center-of-the-bell-curve person. In different ways, we all deviate from the norm, which explains our own uniqueness. My aim as a therapist is to work with individuals, couples, triads, and families in a way that celebrates their uniqueness and "incurable deviance." By meeting you where you are, with who you are, in a way that makes best use of your unique strengths, hopes, dreams, and quirks, we can work together as client(s) and therapist to help you address your current challenges, get lots more of what you want, develop skills, transform, and explore new choices available to you.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists
When should I seek treatment for trauma?
Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.
How long does trauma therapy take?
Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.
What happens if trauma is left untreated?
Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.
Can PTSD come back after treatment?
It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
