My name is Crystal Gee, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have worked in the Human Service field for over 19 years. I've spent 9 years working in the Mental Health field where I trained and became an Evidence-Based Practice Mental Health clinician specializing in Emotional and Disruptive Disorders with certifications in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT), Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP), Seeking Safety and Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT). I use a Cognitive behavioral and integrative approach to help clients reach their treatment goals.

I have been a family therapist over 20 years; and such, I work from a systemic or relational orientation, which focuses on mental health concerns within the contexts they occur. I work with individuals, couples and families experiencing a variety of mental health and relational concerns, such as depression, important life decisions, spiritual struggles, premarital counseling, marital conflict, communication problems, parenting challenges, family transitions, relationship enhancement, domestic violence, family violence and mid-life transitions.

Personally and professionally, I had to overcome many obstacles to see my ambitions through. It is for these reasons that I developed an inclination towards assisting people to meet their goals and address their own concerns within therapy. I am a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor in the state of Texas. I completed my training at the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2017. Since completion, I have continued to work with individuals who suffer from different mental illnesses ranging from Major Depression Disorder to Complex PTSD, or just needing help managing their stress in their every day life. My goal as a mental health counselor is to assist individuals in regaining self-confidence, self-awareness, and independence through the tools therapy provides.
