I have always had a passion for helping people- but it took me a while to find the field I am most passionate about. I discovered counseling as my future career when I was working as an EMT, and witnessing some of the most difficult situations and their simultaneous mental health concerns. This allowed me to have access to vast experiences with different populations, and see and appreciate humanity’s resilience and compassion. I am in the counseling field to make a difference for people- except this time I’m focusing on individual mental health.
