I do a lot of work with individuals and couples struggling in relationship issues. Anxiety, depression, conflict management and communication issues tend to be the results of clients applying ineffective solutions to the problems they're experiencing. I love to see the individual and/or couple who seriously desire healthy change in their lives and are willing to risk implementing different approaches to their problems. I work well in family related issues. I have several adolescent guys with issues related to ADD, ADHD, and Aspergers. I offer them an environment that's safe, accepting, understanding and validating.

I love diversity! I especially enjoy working with clients who have never been to therapy before. I pride myself on making clients feel comfortable. I start with wherever the client is, which means we move as quickly or as slowly in therapy as they feel comfortable. I emphasize a safe environment for the counseling session. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in marriage counseling, trauma, and abuse. As divorce rates rise, so does my desire to help struggling marriages; a large part of my approach to marriage counseling is using the Gottman Method. I also work with teenagers and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and a variety of other issues.
