I never thought I would be a therapist. I found this profession by going through my own personal pain and struggles. These included depression, debilitating social anxiety, general anxiety and a life changing existential crisis. Through the help of some amazing people, I found my way out and I now have a passion to help others. I believe that the most powerful therapeutic relationship is human to human. Yes, I am licensed professional, but more importantly I am another human being that has been in the shit. I will always wear this on my sleeve, as it is the sole reason that I became a counselor.

Our therapeutic process is brief, highlighting your strengths. We address your concerns right away, so you can have relief starting on the first session. Exercises are given in between sessions to accelerate growth.

I endeavor to help my clients to identify their existing strengths and develop resilience with my specialized knowledge and clinical expertise. In the beginning of counseling, my clients will have a clear understanding of where they are emotionally, relationally, and spiritually, which lead them to work on specific goals in the working stage of counseling. Therapeutic interventions will include adjusting thought/behavior patterns (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to intensify their strengths to overcome crisis. I have successfully worked with the clients who struggled with behavior issues, parenting issues, substance abuse, addiction, PTSD, and trauma-related issues.

I believe that people are innately capable and good, and I work with clients to help them access the capacity to heal. I believe in the healing power of relationships, and I work with clients to develop and improve those relationships so that they can provide support, connection, compassion, and safety as they struggle to overcome life challenges, depression, anxiety, trauma, and other struggles. I also believe that, for some, healing relationships that have suffered pain and betrayal is critical to long-term recovery.
