I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, sleep problems, chronic pain, and serious mental illness. I am here to support you or your loved one on the journey to health and provide you with tools and strategies to help you weather personal, professional, and parenting storms, whether through therapy or a thorough psychological assessment. I am currently taking clients age 16 and up. All services are for people of any sexual orientation and at all points on the gender spectrum. I have been working with adolescents and parents in the school system for over 19 years as a school counselor, and have held my LPC license for over 14 years. I am an LPC supervisor. I enjoy working with adolescents, helping them to work through their issues, ranging from underachieving to relationship conflict (and everything in between). I also enjoy working with adults, helping them to understand their roles as parents so that they are better able to help support their children in a positive, healthy manner. I have spent two decades studying personality disorders, & the body's mechanism to dissociate. A spark was ignited when I first taught self-efficacy to orphaned and trafficked girls in India and I have been striving for change when others have given up ever since. We need to redefine and change the vocabulary of "mental illness" and "stable; into "gifted" and "recovered".
