I have 20+ years of experience working in psychiatric hospitals, medical facilities, community health centers, pediatric clinics, schools, and residential treatment centers. I offered many years to working with children, adolescents, parents, and families through child protective services, rape crisis centers, shelters, neighborhood centers, and adoption centers. I am experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders including PTSD, Depression, Trauma, Anxiety, & Psychosis including the management of other symptoms that stem from family/ relationship conflict, social difficulties, poor school performance, and violence/ abuse.

Therapy provides the opportunity for one to become the best version of themselves. I work to help clients understand and identify their own strengths, incorporating coping skills while processing aspects of the past to create an understanding of the causation of our behaviors. Helping others work through transitional periods of life such as life, careers, relationships, school, etc., has also been a part of my clinical skills.

I am incredibly fortunate to have my dream job and feel a sense of fulfillment and pride in my work everyday. I know for many of us we do not have that opportunity and have numerous challenges that prevent us from feeling fulfillment, happiness or stability, which can cause immense distress that may be due to anxiety, depression, panic, and feeling lost in general among other complex emotions.
