Dr. Rosenbaum's goal is to provide compassionate and collaborative counseling services for pre-teens, adolescents and adults who struggle with low self-esteem, anxiety, or depression, related concerns. Dr. Rosenbaum provides expert evaluation, therapy, and consultation in order to explore presenting concerns and create an individualized plan in order to implement appropriate treatment. Concerns may include emotional and behavioral related, anger management, social skills, academic, relationship conflict, stress, attention difficulties, social anxiety, panic attacks feelings of insecurity, fear, overwhelm, and sadness. Welcome! My name is Colleen Christie and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas. With 29 years of experience, my primary focus of my practice is relationship issues including break-ups, divorce, couples therapy, toxic relationships and even "lack of relationship" issues. I also treat disorders that are frequently the consequences of difficult personal/family relationships including grief, anxiety, poor self-esteem, depression and trauma. I mostly utilize a systems and existential approach to therapy, but use multiple modalities based on the needs of my client.

I approach the helping relationship with respect, patience, acceptance and collaboration. My practice is client-centered, focusing on your immediate needs and problem-solving different ways to approach roadblocks that prevent you from achieving the quality of life that you deserve.
