I'm a certified clinical trauma specialist, so I'm here to hold a safe space for you to work through some of the life defining moments you've experienced. I'm here to help you make meaning of what you've gone through, and go from simply surviving to thriving. We can be structured in routine or change approach often. I offer fully virtual sessions to make treatment accessible for all.

**Currently, I am not taking new clients.** I offer individual and couples counseling, and assessments for adults and teenagers. I have extensive training and experience in working with active duty, veterans, and civilians with anxiety, adjustment difficulties, and depression. I adjust my approach to meet each individual's/couple's needs, using well-researched treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am licensed in TX but approved through PsyPact to see teletherapy clients in several other states.

As a therapist, my personal battles have granted me an intimacy with the struggles my clients face. I understand the reluctance to ask for help, especially in multicultural communities where mental health is often not taken seriously. Generational trauma and cultural expectations have woven intricate barriers around seeking assistance. It's a struggle I'm familiar with, and that familiarity is the cornerstone of the safe haven I strive to create for my clients. I have 9 years experience working with children and families. As a Registered Play Therapist, I offer a unique service to children who have experienced trauma and help them through the use of play. I also enjoy working with teens and adults.
