My name is DrP and I run the Good Help Clinic. I am a psychologist, army veteran, and an adjunct professor with the Texas A&M HSC College of Medicine. My mission is to consistently provide high quality psychological services to people with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and anger management problems. I have special training in health psychology and lots of experience helping people change behaviors that hurt their health. I am a licensed boxing and martial arts coach. I help athletes improve performance. I also do psychological assessment and pre-bariatric surgery psychological evaluations.

I am fulfilling my life's purpose by helping others attain their goals with the assistance of psychotherapy. I provide Client-Centered, CBT, EMDR, Mindfulness, Play Therapy, and Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy to adults, children, adolescents, and couples.

My family and I have lived in the Central Texas area for many years. I am familiar with the local area, and coming from a military family, I was raised all over the country. I earned my Masters of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin. I specialized in infant, child and adolescent mental health as well as clinical assessment. I have worked in many areas with varying populations such as: the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Evaluation Services at Fort Hood, Scott and White Hospital, Dialysis Clinics, and Veteran's Administration Hospital.

I believe in meeting my clients where they are and helping them to move in the direction they dream of being. No two people are alike, so I treat the individual as an individual without judgment. This therapy allows the client to navigate their treatment better since they are doing the work; I am just here to facilitate their progress. After all, we only get one turn on this rock we call earth. We should all be able to enjoy it to the fullest.

Since 2018, I have utilized person-centered and strength-based practices to promote the "Power of Self." These practices empower individuals to direct their therapeutic process. Establishing a safe zone and welcoming client feedback allows methods that are proven to be effective in managing difficulties, promoting personal growth, and accomplishing personal goals. I also provide therapy services to individuals exploring their sexuality; sexually fluent; and those that are experiencing a decrease or increase in sexual functioning.

I can assist you in understanding your emotions, effective communication, career counseling, goal setting, decision making, habit change, conflict resolution, and coping skills.

Hello fellow humans, My name is Di-Di Mauras. I believe a good life is about healthy connections and being who you want to be. As an Army veteran I know that relationships can be tested. As a human, I know there can be challenges to feeling your best. I do not have any expectations of who you should be or what you need for you. I do have the expectation that change can, and will, come, with work. We will work together to get there.

As a retired military combat veteran, I have a deep passion for working with clients from all backgrounds and walks of life. I have worked with individuals and whole families. I specialize in working with children/adolescents with a variety of presenting symptoms. I understand that children must be counseled in the context of their family system and incorporate family therapy in my treatment processes. I have experience working with sexually and physically abused children, adolescents, and adults and those struggling with trauma reminders. I also work with individuals struggling with depression or behavior changes following a change in relationship dynamics such as divorce or military deployment. I offer sessions with and without my therapy dog-in-training, a sweet Bernedoodle named Sullivan.
