I've been a counselor for over 15 years and in that time, my counseling services have helped countless people get through stressful challenges by questioning negative thoughts and understanding the source of specific behaviors and emotional patterns. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe the counseling process is much like a journey and is a collaborative effort between the therapist and the individual, couple, or family. My counseling style is dependent on the needs of each unique individual and their goals. Therefore the counseling process will be different for each person, but my role as a therapist, to guide and encourage, remains the same. In the first few sessions, we will work to discover where you would like to go on the journey and continue when you are proactively committed to getting there.

My goal as a counselor is to come alongside you as my client, to help you understand yourself and explore what is holding you back. Hi there, I'm Kim. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I am passionate about helping clients face life's challenges and come out happier, healthier, and stronger on the other side. The clients I see are often experiencing major life transitions, trauma, grief and loss, addiction and recovery, stress, anxiety, and depression. In my practice, I often use person-centered therapy to meet the client exactly where they are at. I also use a variety of different tools as needed and have a strong Christian faith that can be incorporated if the client chooses a faith-based model of therapy.

Dr. Rial-Baker is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Doctor of Ministry. She is a practical, interactive therapist who uses an array of therapeutic techniques. Her treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. She incorporates a blend of conventional, spiritual, and alternative approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with clients to help them to build upon their strengths to bring life and blessings into all that they experience.
