My counseling journey began in Brazil in 2005 and expanded to the US in 2021. As a therapist with over 10 years of counseling experience, I aim to help clients feel immersed in a secure atmosphere. I offer counseling services to adolescents, adults, and families in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. In addition to providing services for Anxiety, Grief, and Chronic Pain, I am an Early Childhood Development specialist and have a background in counseling high schoolers and families. I am certified in hypnosis by IFEN (Brazil), and my approach is rooted in Solution-Focused techniques and person-centered therapy.

I am a licensed psychological associate in Texas with over 4 years of experience providing individual, family, and group counseling; administering and interpreting psychological assessments; and formulating psychological reports for private clients of various ages and for preschool and school aged youth as referred by local school districts. Through consulting within the school system, it is here where I identified a great and immediate need for youth mental health intervention. I took a 4 year break from practicing psychology to become a full-time middle school math teacher to help meet this mental health crisis among local youth.

Allen is a Licensed Professional Counselor who completed his graduate studies at Dallas Theological Seminary in Counseling and his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University in Psychology. Allen uses key principles from CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy to partner with clients to develop new systems and narratives to achieve their therapeutic goals. I am Jairo Suarez and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and National Certified Counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Thomas, Houston. I have experience counseling adolescents, adults, couples and families in areas like parenting, domestic violence education, processing trauma, anger management, self-esteem, and grief.
