I am a Licensed Practicing Counselor in Texas with over 13 years of experience working as a mental health counselor and mentor. I am also a certified teacher and taught in the public school system for 4 years. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, oppositional defiance, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues, addiction, LGBT, parenting problems, career challenges and ADHD.

Our treatment approach is based on over 20 years of providing testing and treatment services. In every case, our primary treatment goal is to help clients develop the necessary skills to improve health, academic performance, day-to-day functioning and sense of well-being and self-efficacy. I have years of experience in counseling, including marriage and family. I have a love for pastoral care and counseling as well as addiction counseling. I am always interested in innovative ways to help my clients and in that endeavor I have a certification in AcuDetox an acupuncture program that assists people with addiction. I am also board-certified in both clinical hypnosis for addiction, smoking cessation, and weight loss and have received EMDR training for trauma.
