I am a Therapist and have been providing mental health services for over 25 years in outpatient and in home settings. I see Individuals and address Adjustment disorder, Anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Grief, Mood Disorder, Post-traumatic stress. I have diverse training and experience. I enjoy working with a wide variety of people.

Abbey has eclectic and authentic approach to helping clients sort through it all. She has spent many years helping young adults as they navigate transitions of live. Now many of her clients are experiencing periods of transition, working through challenges in relationships, or have decided that they are ready to heal.

I have successfully taught children as early as those in Program Head Start, before becoming a Texas Teacher & School Counselor, and ultimately a LPC-Supervisor . As a child advocate who tries to understand the needs of the child in hopes of helping with mental or emotional turmoil. One may say or think that I specialize in treating children? This would be false, because I can't recall a situation where I could help the child without helping the parents, and even the whole family. Family history and dynamics plays a "Huge" role in your child's development and behaviors.

Over the span of three decades, I've dedicated 13 years to serving as a School Counselor within public education. My experience extends beyond counseling to roles such as Parent Engagement Coordinator and member of the Campus Leadership Team. I am deeply committed to empowering children and families, fostering their growth and success.
