I look at mental health from an integrative perspective. People are best understood and change is best maintained by taking into account all aspects of a person including physical health, genetic influences, cultural identities, behavioral patterns and past experiences. My therapeutic approach emphasizes an appreciation for the complexity and uniqueness of all of my clients. We are all complex individuals shaped by our environments and a collection of pasts before us that we may not always understand. While I have worked with various focal populations on a wide variety of issues, the most common presenting needs are related to anxiety, depression, internal blocks, transitioning gender identities, coming out, recovering from various forms of trauma, and life transitions. My name is Rachel Daley and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) based out of San Antonio, Texas. I have been doing addiction counseling in person since 2010 and added mental health counseling to my skill set in 2019. After the pandemic, I began virtual counseling across Texas and have had great experiences working with people all over the state. I work with adults and specialize in anxiety, trauma, PTSD, depression, borderline personality disorder, and both chemical and process addictions.
