I help my clients calm their nervous systems and create self awareness through somatic body awareness, EMDR, and mindfulness modalities.
This is your sign that you’re ready to live a life that is true to yourself, working through your past and finding ways to accept and trust yourself. In my office, you have permission to abandon the hustle of life and move slowly, intentionally, and in ways that feel good for you. If sitting in a chair feels stifling, we can take our session outdoors in a walk therapy session. And no need to get all dressed up for our sessions, they aren’t interviews. You can come into session just as you are, after a workout, before work, in sweatpants—there is no requirement for how you have to be.

I utilize CBT, DBT, ACT and EMDR to help support and create tools for healing, emotional regulation and coping skills.
I work with people that seek positive change, healing and understanding from past experiences. In therapy sessions with me, you determine pace and depth, and I gently guide the process with attention to helping you safely navigate feelings and using our time together effectively. I offer individual therapy to adults that may be experiencing burn out, low motivation, life transitions, and anxiety. I also have a background in healthcare and happily see first responders and healthcare workers in my practice.

I can support and guide you on your therapy journey using somatic therapy, trauma-focused/EMDR therapy, narrative, family systems, and feminist approaches which can help if you're struggling with depression, anxiety, self-harm, grief, neurodiversity (ADHD, Autism, AuDHD), chemical dependency, abuse, religious trauma, body image, existential issues, and more.
Are you looking for an authentic connection with a therapist and appreciate an open, supportive dialogue? Have you had trouble in the past connecting with therapists? If any of this sounds like you, then you are in the right place.

I utilize CBT, DBT, and EMDR.
I want to get to know you, wherever you'd like to start. Together, we can explore ways to increase your ability to manage and cope and find more happiness and calmness. I've got 30 years of experience helping people navigate through the impact of traumatic situations and serious grief and loss, including sexual assault, domestic violence, abusive childhoods, chronic illness, and tragic death. I understand the crushing weight of hopelessness and thoughts that things will never be better or even different. I know that things can and do change and I strongly believe that we are not simply what happened to us.

With EMDR you can heal deeper and more quickly than talk therapy alone.
On the outside, you’re doing all the things that you’re supposed to. You’re nailing it at your job, you’re doing some fun things in life, and you’ve got some relationships filling your bucket. But on the inside, you feel like your childhood and the past is following you around like your shadow. It feels like it all happened so long ago, but it’s affecting and tainting the NOW. You feel so unsettled, anxious, and on edge most of the time…and it’s exhausting. You just want to feel like your childhood, and what you’ve been through in the past, is finally put to rest. Put to rest in a way where you feel 10x lighter and carefree.

I offer EMDR intensives - an accelerated form of therapy to help you feel better faster.
Does it feel like you're carrying around a heavy weight that won't ever let up? You might have had a painful experience that feels like it changed your life - and even you as a person - forever. You're anxious and on edge all the time, and you feel lost, angry, & afraid. Maybe you experienced a toxic relationship, had a rough relationship with your family, or lost someone important to you. You feel alone, and like you're constantly treading water. Your friends or family care for you, but they have no idea how to help. You need someone who understands what you're going through, and who can help you piece this puzzle together.

In the couples therapy process, partners learn to improve communication, build intimacy, and solve conflict in a respectful way. All of my sessions are trauma sensitive and will be a safe space for repair.
