Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in the DFW area in Texas. I have lived here most of my life, but received my Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University and my Master's degree from Texas State University. My passion is working with children and adolescents between the ages of 8-18. I am currently working towards becoming a certified eating disorder specialist, as building a healthy relationship with food is often such a crucial part of our mental health foundation.

I am a graduate of the Texas A&M – Central Texas Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate with an eclectic background. Having experience serving in the miliary and working as a paramedic, I bring a varied and deep knowledge base relating to traumatic and other chronic disorders. I have worked in the managed care system with both acute and chronic illnesses and focuses on how overall wellness and physiological well-being play a role in how we feel mentally. I have experience working with clients of all ages and from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Her expertise extends to blending evidence-based treatments with innovative methods like sand tray therapy, art, and play. Jenny also focuses on helping parents improve communication, behavior management, and relationships with their children.

I have worked as a social worker in various settings for over 20 years & have worked with youth & families in foster care & adoption, in schools, & with youth & adults in community-based & medical facilities. I have experience helping clients with stress & anxiety, coping with grief & loss, motivation, self-esteem, & depression.
