My mission is to empower individuals to take control of their destiny and function productively by providing them with the necessary skills to realize their dreams through counseling, education, social skills training, motivation, and participating in the treatment of abnormal behaviors. The goal is to complete that missing piece of the puzzle that creates a balanced and purposeful life.

Some days we experience worries that seem so big that it's hard for us to function.

At the heart of the therapeutic relationship is connection! My passion is working with all types of individuals, believing that on the inside we have more likeness than differences. Together we explore individual and family history and establish goals for therapy. I provide them with education and support to take the steps towards desired change. Some know they have a substance use problem, others aren't sure, and still others have been affected by the disease of addiction throughout their childhood and/or adult relationships.

My client has difficulty with change and is unable to look at the positive side of things. Normally I see this in young adults feel are not reach their potential and are running out of time. The goal is to pay more attention to the things they already accomplish and prioritize life and recognize that sometimes life provides twists and turns out of our control. Teach the value of the ‘here and now’ to unstuck the mind and move forward; looking more at successes than failures without forgetting To use the latter as opportunities more than regrets.
