I strive to create a trusting relationship with all clients and believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship. I am passionate about helping people create and achieve their goals. I believe early therapeutic intervention is crucial in order to equip individuals with the tools to overcome life's obstacles. My areas of focus include treating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, and peer relationships.

The value of serving others has been evident throughout my life. Having many years of work experience, including the armed forces, has helped me become a more flexible and well-rounded individual. My experience is across a variety of behavior health settings including various levels of education, structured outpatient and inpatient psychiatric facilities, outreach and community mental health, managed care, and private practice promoting Emotional Support Animals as an accommodation. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), additional credentials are Certified Anger Resolution Therapist (CART) and CIMHP.

I believe children are better able to express their feelings, needs, experiences, and thoughts via play, rather than just words. Play therapy allows children to grow and heal at their own developmental level, and I strive to promote self awareness, self expression, and improved relationships.
