Dr. Levi Armstrong is a doctoral-level, clinical neuropsychologist who specializes in testing and treatment for children (ages 3+), adolescents, and adults suffering from diseases and illnesses affecting the brain. Common diagnoses evaluated for include ADHD or ADD, autism or Asperger's, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and dementia. With a down-to-earth attitude and a genuine desire to be as clinically helpful as possible, our compassionate clinical staff believe that each patient is much more than a diagnosis and that testing should always be a therapeutic process.

I have specialized in the evaluation and treatment of patients with chemical / environmental sensitivity and/or who have been exposed to neurotoxic substances for more than 30 years. I conduct neuropsychological evaluations for litigation and/or disability issues (private or Social Security disability). I also evaluate patients with ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, Lyme disease, MS and chronic pain. The goal of therapy is to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression associated with chronic physical illness and improve coping ability.                                                                

I offer neuropsychological evaluation and therapy utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy with my clients that are faced with challenges of mood disorders, neurocognitive/developmental disorders, and pain related disorders. As well, I perform assessments for those with mild brain injury, aging related disorders, ADHD (adults), and those that need an evaluation prior to an upcoming surgical procedure.

All individuals experience struggles or crisis at some point in their lives. As an experienced licensed psychologist, I am committed to helping my clients overcome obstacles and meet goals that will lead to lasting and meaningful changes in their lives. I provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, life stressors, parenting challenges, attention-deficit disorder, and related behavioral disorders. I also conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations of children, adolescents, and adults. Special interests include: child and adolescent therapy, treatment of abused children, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and gifted testing.

I see clients of all ages, for therapy and testing/evaluations. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse/dependence, behavior disorders and family systems issues. Most of my clients present with a combination of symptoms. I tailor treatment to the specific needs of the client and use research proven techniques to meet the needs of the individual, or family, in a collaborative setting. I teach healthy coping skills to address a wide range of symptoms.

My broad-range experience: studied at Ohio State University under top-ranked professors in Counseling Psychology and brain injury. RESIDENCIES: Minneapolis VA hospital; Ohio State's brain injury rehab unit. 17+ years inpatient rehab neuropsychology experience at Baylor Rehab Dallas, Pate Rehab. 1990-95: Christian counseling & neuropsychology at Minirth-Meier Clinic. Adjunct Professor: LPC-level Counseling degree program at Dallas Theological Seminary.

I work under the motto, "The sun will rise and set regardless. What we choose to do with the light while its here is up to us..." I fully believe in journeying with my clients through treatment. I truly enjoy working with my clients on the variety of life's ups and downs. Generally, most of my work is with adults; however, I also see adolescents beginning at 16-years-old. Over the years, I have worked with depression, anxiety, trauma, and some of the more severe mental health problems. My other experience includes working with self-harm and suicidal behaviors, as well as behavior management.

Dr. Falkstein has a clinical team that works with him that includes several other psychologists and therapists. We offer evaluation services and therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Falkstein has worked in the mental health field since 1988 and has conducted several thousand evaluations over the past 25 years. Unlike most psychologists, Dr. Falkstein has experience and knowledge as a psychologist in private practice and as a school psychologist actually working in the schools.

I offer an empathetic approach helping clients address emotional issues that interfere with them being their best selves. I welcome clients warmly into judgment-free sessions.
