As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I bring a wealth of expertise to the therapeutic space. I earned my Bachelor's in Psychology from the esteemed University of Texas at Austin and furthered my education with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Houston. My professional journey has encompassed working with diverse populations facing a spectrum of challenges, including individuals navigating trauma, chronic health conditions, LGBTIQA+, PTSD, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and the complexities of reintegration after extended prison sentences.

I offered many years to working with children, adolescents, parents, and families through child protective services, rape crisis centers, shelters, neighborhood centers, and adoption centers. I am experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders including PTSD, Depression, Trauma, Anxiety, & Psychosis including the management of other symptoms that stem from family/ relationship conflict, social difficulties, poor school performance, and violence/ abuse.

My practice is primarily family therapy where multiple family members participate. The majority of the families I work with have at least one, if not many, of the following diagnoses: AD/HD, oppositional defiant disorder, selective mutism, learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, pragmatic communication, etc), social communication disorder, autism, anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and/or bipolar disorder. I actively use Accelerated Resolution Therapy(ART) to help people gain relief from trauma and persistent unwanted thoughts. I also offer comprehensive reports for social security applications.
