Mindful Solutions Counseling strives to help children, individuals and couples find positive solutions using the Solution Focused approach, as well as other therapeutic techniques. Solution Focused Therapy is a hope friendly, future-oriented modality for formulating, motivating, achieving, and sustaining desired behavioral change. I work with clients struggling with unhealthy coping skills and dysfunctional survival traits as an adaptation to a deeper issue. Those struggling with personality disorders, codependency, trauma, OCD, anxiety, perfectionism and eating disorders are among my areas of expertise. Trauma populations include but are not limited to sexual trauma, military trauma, spiritual trauma, emotional, physical, neglect and abandonment.

Alice is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She began working in mental health as a para-professional in 1993, received my MSSW from University of Texas at Arlington, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker through the state of Texas. When individuals of any age experience life stressors or trauma they may feel like their life has become unfocused, out of balance or unhinged. Her passion is to bring healing to individuals/couples/families and get through these experiences.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. My experience includes working with children, adolescents and adults in both hospital and outpatient settings. My passion is to help people who struggle with identity issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss as well as difficulties associated with life transitions. I enjoy working with diverse populations and view each individual as unique and having the potential to heal and grow emotionally, socially and spiritually.

I am a LCSW licensed in TX, FL, CA, MA, SC, ME, VT, VA, WV & NJ, CO, NV & DC. I provide virtual therapy sessions via a secure online platform for the convenience and ease of my clients to be able to receive therapy wherever they may be and feel comfortable. I graduated from the University of Maine in 2008 & from the University of Southern Maine in 2012. I have experience with all populations and ages in all settings. My goal is to create a trusting relationship with clients to identify, process and work through identified issues, learning to implement coping skills for sustainable use independently of our sessions.
