My clients are adults of all ages working through a wide range of issues, such as depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, spiritual disconnection, relationship difficulties, and more. I have a particular interest and additional experience with the LGBTQ population, young adults working to establish their identities, those working through painful grief journeys, and those who are exploring their faith or spirituality. I graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with degrees in Christian education and Biblical counseling. I believe that all people should be treated with dignity, grace, and mercy, and that everyone struggles with the basic building blocks of society: relationships. My work is focused on individuals, married couples, families, employees, and small groups.

Stephanie Jutras, LCSW received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Religion from Trinity University and her Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington. She is licensed by the State of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Stephanie believes that each client is the expert on their own life and that her role as a therapist is to build a positive, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship with them in order to provide a space where they can safely explore whatever they are struggling with and find the solutions that work best for them.

My primary goal as a counselor is to walk alongside people that are in the courageous pursuit of positive change through providing consistent encouragement, and ethical care. I began counseling in a crisis center environment and received my Master's in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from UTSW School of Health Professions. Over the last several years, I have partnered with people of all ages (10-85) facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and stressors to physical and emotional health. I have a special interest in helping those facing trauma and navigating life transitions at any stage of life.

I am an expert in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have been part of NIMH research studies in CBT for depression conducted at UT Southwestern Medical School, where I held the rank of Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Psychology. I initiated and taught the graduate course in CBT in the Rehab Psychology graduate program as well as teaching cognitive and behavior therapy to third year psychiatry residents at UT Southwestern. I employ a CBT approach to helping people with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, panic and OCD.
