Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, (LPC), in Texas. I received my Masters from UT Brownsville. I also have a PhD in the Philosophy of Psychology where my research was in Positive Psychology. I have been helping people move from problems to new possibilities in their loves for about 15 years. Mental and emotional problems make us feel stuck but each person has power to overcome and move to flourishing.

I am a licensed professional counselor associate and a licensed chemical dependency counselor under the supervision of Jeremy Berry, PhD, LPC-S, NCC, CCC. I got my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Edward’s University. My primary therapeutic approach is existentialism through a person-centered lens. Also, to meet the needs of my clients, I will pull from other modalities such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), somatic experiencing, narrative therapy, attachment theory, and Eidetic imagery.

I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Art Therapy from Whitecliffe College in Auckland, New Zealand in 2015 following my Bachelor’s education at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. My clinical experience began in 2012 as a student therapist working with youth on the Autism Spectrum. This work soon developed into working with individuals, couples, families, and groups of all ages facing a wide variety of challenges across public and private healthcare settings.

I believe everyone should have a safe and healing place to work through life's difficulties. My goal as a therapist is to serve as a catalyst as clients progress through their own unique process of healing and self-discovery.
