I can help you with life transitions, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, periods of uncertainty and darkness, trauma, grief and losses of all kinds, and feelings of loneliness.
Life is simultaneously amazingly beautiful and painfully terrifying. How we cope with these terrifying and difficult moments can impact how we see and enjoy the beautiful moments life has to offer. When we are faced with these difficult moments, sometimes, we turn to unhealthy ways of coping, further blocking our ability to grow. I want to help you take back the control that these challenges have taken away from you, so you can lead a more satisfying life. You have the power within to overcome these difficulties and my goal is to help you tap into your inner strength and resources.

Life is simultaneously amazingly beautiful and painfully terrifying. How we cope with these terrifying and difficult moments can impact how we see and enjoy life. Studies confirm what I know to be true: the best predictor of therapeutic success is a secure, attuned therapeutic relationship. This means I meet you with compassion and listen without judgment, assumptions, or expectations. I respect your pace and honor the need to feel safe when sharing your story. At the foundation of my work with individuals and couples is the belief that every human being has an innate ability to thrive.

No matter what made you take this step know that you are in a safe space where your rights and beliefs are fully validated. As a client focused therapist I will not give you advise but rather help you find your own solutions to the barriers lying in your way that's keeping you from living your best life.

Waitlist for new clients
As my clients learn to attune to safety within the therapeutic relationship, my hope is that they will develop the inner resources they need to step more fully into their authentic selves outside of counseling.
I practice counseling from a trauma informed, culturally responsive, and somatically oriented lens. I believe that we experience our stressors and traumas at the intersection of our physical, cultural, and relational realities. I view each individual as the expert of their experience, including children and teens, and collaborate with individuals and families to support meaningful change. I believe that we heal best when we can attune to our emotional and somatic experience of the present moment in the context of safe relationships and work to create a secure space for processing the past and reorienting to the present and future.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
