I specialize in working with children and adolescents who are struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, PTSD and ADHD. I also specialize in working with children who have been diagnosed with Autism. Children under the age of 18 often struggle in terms of building strong relationships with family members and peers of their age. Childhood through adolescence can be a challenging time, due to this, children often need additional guidance, as well as someone they can trust/ build rapport with.

My mission is to help all my clients make quality improvements in their lives. I have years of experience in individual, family, couple, and group counseling. I integrate several forms of psychotherapy approaches such as Internal Family System, BrainSpotting, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral therapy (TB-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and more, to tailor treatment to my clients' individual needs. Dr. Falkstein has worked in the mental health field since 1988 and has conducted several thousand evaluations over the past 25 years. Unlike most psychologists, Dr. Falkstein has experience and knowledge as a psychologist in private practice and as a school psychologist actually working in the schools.
