Hello! I work with children, teens, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, grief, low self-esteem, body image, life transitions, gender identity, and sexuality. I utilize affirming counseling practices with all clients, and especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and their families.

I have worked in a variety of treatment settings with children, adolescents, families, couples and adults. I have extensive experience treating clients who report anxiety, depression, exposure to trauma, increased stress, suicidal ideation, and complex family dynamics. I am here to help you on your journey towards feeling better and being the best version of yourself.

Deborah Wall, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oklahoma and Texas. Her extensive career history has focused on stabilizing and promoting personal functioning while empowering others to achieve long-term growth. As an action-oriented therapist, Deborah strives to help others resolve stressors and become the best version of themselves. This concept is evidenced by her advocation of adults, children and families to become addiction free, resolve traumas, and develop a healthy sense of self to combat life's difficulties. Additionally, she is a certified SYMBIS premarital and marital counseling facilitator.

My therapeutic philosophy involves utilizing a holistic approach incorporating Gestalt and Adlerian therapies. As a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in athletes, children, adolescents, and young adults, I frequently work with clients experiencing issues related to poor sport or school performance, life changes during adolescence, life transitioning from college to career, parenting issues, sibling relationships, and divorce family transitioning. Topical issues may include low self-esteem , ADHD, transitioning from athletic identity, peer relationships, anger management, self-mutilation, eating disorders, and self-empowerment. A fundamental element in my approach is establishing the therapeutic relationship through rapport and building trust between the client and the therapist.

The way in which we cope with the world is greatly influenced by the way in which we see the world. Therapy can be a safe, non-judgmental space to explore opportunities for change, recognize our strengths, and navigate challenges in our lives. My role as a counselor is to advocate and provide support for clients who are seeking growth, change, and well-being in their lives. I enjoy working with children, adults, and families as they process and heal from trauma while learning more effective coping skills, healthier communication skills and boundaries, and working towards a happier and healthier version of themselves.

I've been a dreamer for as far back as I can recall. While many of my ideas remain just that - ideas, I embrace this part of my nature.
