Hi! I'm Megan. I completed my master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy with a concentration in spiritual formation from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. I specialize in Christian counseling for teens and young adults.

I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 30+ years. Primarily, a cognitive behavioral approach is utilized which focuses on the attainment of client goals by addressing thought processing in relation to behaviors. Family therapy uses a family systems approach which recognizes the interactions between family members as being as important as individual behaviors. Specialties include survivorship, grief and loss, transitioning life stages, trauma informed care, depression and anxiety related challenges, motivation, self esteem and confidence development, removing barriers to self growth, and coping skills development.

Intimacy is often impeded by an inability to know your self or to see yourself accurately. Often we loose that sense of self in relationships which then promotes agitation and depression. We then take on addictive behaviors to avoid feeling reality. Difficulties in childhood often does not equip us with the skills of boundaries which is the only thing that helps to maintain a sense of who we are while remaining connected in a relationship. I can help you develop the skills of being relational and still be you.
