Mental health therapy is a intimate collaboration in self-discovery, relationship preservation, mental health maintenance, and relief of suffering. It is my job to center you and meet you in your challenges (stress, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, self criticalness, etc.). I provide support to individuals, partners, and families who are motivated towards greater understandings of their experiences in order to find peace and/or heal connections in their relationship with themselves and others.

I am a licensed professional counselor in the State of Texas. I have over 9 years of professional experience providing counseling services to individuals, groups, and families. I am an optimistic person and believe in the best in people. My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Texas. Then, I became very interested in studying human behavior and decided to pursue a master's degree in Psychology.

I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) in the state of Texas. I have more than 25 years of experience as a mental health professional. This includes direct counseling as well as case management and service coordination for individuals with mental illness and individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities. I have aided in accessing medical, social, and educational services that help individuals and families achieve a better quality of life.

My specialization in attachment and trauma has lent itself to helping individuals and families reimagine their future, deepen their intimacy, and nurture their connection. I graduated with my Masters of Education in Counseling and Guidance in 2014 from the University of Texas at Brownsville. I have over 14 years of experience working in the mental health field and have worked with different populations ranging from domestic violence, CPS cases, children placed in emergency shelters, along with children with ADHD, anger management, Child-Parent conflicts, Depression and Anxiety.
