Every client is unique, the variety might include CBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma Focused-CBT.
If you are struggling with feelings of inadequacy, difficulty with making everyday decisions, a loss rather it be a person, career, marriage or a traumatic event, my desire is to provide a safe space where you find clarity, hope, and healing. The most important aspect of the therapeutic relationship is building a warm, genuine, non-judgmental connection. As a therapist, that is my goal. I believe when people sense that you genuinely care and respect them, they are more open to honestly sharing about themselves and participating in the process of improving their lives.

I incorporate trauma focused modalities using CPT and TF-CBT, as well as DBT and other skills based approaches to help the processes when needed.
I am a licensed clinician who has experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, OCD, and bipolar. I believe that from our birth we begin building an image of who we are, how relationships should function, and how the world works around us. For many of us, adverse experiences in life can lead to difficulty managing stress or daily functioning as we get older. We may need help processing our lived experiences and understanding how they have effected our decision making and the struggles we face today. I believe that, by focusing on the present and applying the past, we can discover both our goals and our strengths.

Bethany has also worked with folks in developing life skills, overcoming job stressors, getting through personal and social challenges, developing healthy interpersonal and romantic relationships, coping with illness, survivorship after abuse and trauma, domestic and intimate partner violence, and many other areas of concern.
You may not know in great detail how this journey of growth toward being your best self will look, but one thing is for sure- intentionality is key. It is selectively choosing who you want to have in your support circle as you begin and maintain your journey toward growth and healing. Bethany has over 12 years of experience in working with adolescents and adults experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, attention deficit (ADHD/ADD), personality disorders, and substance use disorders.

I offer EMDR, which can help you process past traumas and overcome the limitations they may have imposed on your present life.
Hi there! As we journey through life, our experiences, relationships, environment, culture, identity, and significant moments play a role in shaping who we are and who we want to become. The therapeutic process is where the intersectionality of our current reality meets our desired change. It takes courage to seek help, be vulnerable, and grow. I help to create a therapeutic space where clients are received with honor and grace. No matter where you are in your healing and growth journey, I want you to know that you are not alone! I specialize in anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, ethnic identity growth, and faith based counseling.

I use Gestalt therapy, LGBQTA+ friendly, trauma-informed and do some faith based counseling to help clients with navigating their experiences in treatment.
Anxiety, depression, and existential dread make living incredibly difficult by yourself. Clients often struggle with putting emotions into words, feeling seen or heard by those around them, and often think that they are the problem. These clients come seeking a way to change themselves if they are unable to affect visible change in their environment; coming to learn coping skills and feel like they are not dealing with these fears alone.

Waitlist for new clients
I take an eclectic approach in working with clients by drawing from experiential and strengths-based approaches, CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-focused therapies such as EMDR, TF-CBT, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
Life is complex – often filled with positive experiences and also times of facing challenges. At times, it can feel overwhelming to manage some of those challenges on your own, and therapy can be a great source of support. I seek to create a space where you can understand more about yourself, the current challenges you are facing, and feel empowered in reaching your personal goals, hopes, and dreams. Therapy is most beneficial when you feel a sense of partnership and ownership in your process, from the first meeting, in setting your goals for therapy, and in setting a pace that supports your needs, healing, and growth.

I conduct Psycho-educational groups for family members and friends of those individuals who have been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and PTSD.
Welcome to your first step towards helping yourself to live the life you've been wanting. I believe what Carl Rogers once stated "a counselor is not an expert but a mirror for clients to see themselves." A counselor's acceptance and reflection of feelings creates a level of safety for deeper exploration and an opportunity for clients to increase their self-awareness which leads to positive action. I encourage my clients to be mindful of thoughts and feelings. By practicing mindfulness you are able to be focused and centered in your life.
