I previously worked in Cyfair ISD for 15 years, with my last 10 years as a school counselor. I have always had a strong passion for helping children and families. Over the years, I have worked with a variety of childhood and adolescent issues: ADHD, anxiety, anger management, depression, self harm, divorce, adjustment issues, abuse and grief. I use a number of different therapy approaches based on each person's needs, but primarily CBT, DBT, & Sandtray. My main goal for therapy is to teach people coping strategies to better deal with the difficult situations in their lives and to improve their behavior and communication skills.

I have a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Prairie View A&M University, Prairie View, Texas. I have a passion to help others , hence my dedication to the mental health field.
