I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a wide range of experiences. I am co-founder of The House of DBT in Houston, Texas. When people are suffering, they are looking for compassion and guidance. I am here to help them discover their own unique pathway to healing and peace. I am an intensively trained Dialectical Behavior Therapist (DBT), although I utilize approaches from other modes of therapy. I provide the necessary paperwork for you to file with your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement for all services I provide.

I believe in providing my clients with a warm, safe environment to explore issues and challenges that may be preventing them from living the life they want. My goal is to guide clients to explore ways to make changes in their lives so they can look forward to the future with hope. I have served as a teacher, school counselor and as a private practice therapist with almost 20 years of experience. I use a variety of approaches to help my clients, depending on their individual needs, including EMDR. I believe in play therapy to foster healthy behavior and communication in children.
