As a clinical social worker and psychodynamic psychotherapist, I often hear, "I know what I need to do to feel better, but I just can't seem to make myself do what I should." Change isn't always straightforward. Knowing on an intellectual level doesn't mean that it makes sense emotionally. I support your exploration, without judgment, to illuminate stepping stones through the bog that once seemed impassable. At your pace, on your terms, I can help you to cultivate greater insight and navigate through the pain and suffering.

NOT accepting new clients Sometimes we can feel stuck and not have the words to describe it. We just know something is “off.” Hopelessly searching for peace that appears to be out of reach. Our minds are constantly racing with unhelpful thoughts, our relationships are in shambles, and our inner world feels bleak. Or we may be tired of letting opportunities pass us by because of our lack of confidence in ourselves. Somewhere deep inside, we believe we are capable of doing anything we set our minds to, but we allow our critical inner voices to cause us to doubt our own intuition.

People often suffer silently or adopt maladaptive coping mechanisms in response to issues such as anxiety, depression, life changes and stress. As a result, this causes a domino effect on other areas of their personal or professional life. Sometimes, you develop habits or notice things about yourself that you don't like and wonder why am I doing this? Why am I like this? I wonder what this stems from?
