Hi, Making the first move for help is always the most difficult. A little about myself, I have lived and learned multiculturalism from my stay in various cities and abroad. From my experiences combined with my training and education has helped me become very effective when helping those in need of intervention. I specialize in problems with children, adolescents, adults, marraige, relationships, and family problems, depression, dissociative, and behavioral disorders.

Some of life’s greatest challenges, such as divorce, relationship issues, career choices, work related stress, depression, and anxiety can be difficult to navigate alone. Sometimes these issues may be difficult for our family members and friends to attend to. I am committed to helping clients find new possibilities or recognize the strengths that they may have been overlooking. I am an Army Veteran who has extensive experience working with veterans and their families as a family and victim advocate. These experiences have given me a unique perspective of trauma and the challenges it may present in daily life.

In addition to being a licensed therapist , I am also a clinical supervisor in the states of California and Texas. I provide clients with real life tools and aid them in developing effective strategies to cope with life issues. I view therapy as a collaborative effort to understand problems and conflicts, identify realistic goals and take advantage of strengths and strategies that promote change. While the focus is often on current issues, understanding the influence of past experiences and relationships is an important part of the process. I motivate, encourage and support my clients to make choices that improve their lives.

I believe in promoting healing and healthy mind through effective psychotherapy. Life as magnificent as it is, comes with challenges that can overwhelm an individual to the point where his/her daily functioning is significantly impaired. Psychotherapy provides a means for managing and coping with issues that at some time or another interfere with daily functioning. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience providing individual, couples and family counseling. I provide a therapeutic environment that promotes safety, empathy, and support. I believe in a strength based approach in order to attain desired goals. Treatment focuses on processing and working out any individual or family issues that are impeding one from attaining goals. I have been working with individuals and families for 18 years. My treatment specializations include anxiety, depression, ADHD, relational problems, family dynamics, divorce, blended families, military families, and parenting.
