Welcome! My name is Kari Pelley and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin. With 19 years of experience in the field, I have had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults and families and help them navigate through life's challenges. As a therapist, I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change and my goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can feel heard and understood.

I am originally from Virginia but have also lived in Arkansas and Texas. I am the father of five adult children and the husband to a wife of many years. I worked in blue collar fields before and during my counseling training, painting houses and repairing mechanical components aboard Navy war ships. Since college I have been in private counseling practice, worked at a psychiatric hospital, detention center, group home, and home for adults with head injuries, served as church counselor and education director, and taught psychology courses at multiple universities in Texas and Arkansas.
