My 20 years of experience working in a large medical training center and in private practice has given me the well rounded perspective to help people from all walks and stages of life, who are suffering from the hardships of daily living, the symptoms of mental or physical illness or are living with and loving someone who is.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor whose foundation is Christian-based. As a professional, I am here to listen, counsel, and guide others into a healthier mindset and to chose positive choices. Having been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1999, I have counseled numerous clients with a variety of issues. Depression, anxiety, poor coping skills, cognitive distortions, social skills issues, parenting problems, marriage conflicts, divorce, parental alienation, abuse, low self-esteem, and codependency are areas of expertise. I counsel children and teens. Having been a school teacher, I help parents create a loving home.

I provide individualized Therapeutic Service providing intensive one-on-one intervention within my office, and/or virtual settings. There are many reasons traditional outpatient therapy may not be adequate to address the issues of individuals who are in severe emotional or behavioral distress. Sandhya Sharma is a South Asian Indian LPC and certified addictions specialist who works with: Adults, Teens, LGBTQ community, and International Communities. Sandhya will help create a safe and supportive therapy environment and work with you collaboratively to both accurately assess your strengths as well as areas of struggle. She will develop a treatment plan with you to help you facilitate behavioral changes that more successfully meet your goals. Sandhya will help you look at the ways you have been currently coping with life’s problems and help you to develop new strategies from a strengths-based perspective.
