We have therapists (Licensed, Associates and Graduate Students Interns) who specialize in different age groups (teens, young adults, middle age, and elderly), constellations (individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy), and targets (pastors & missionaries, EMDR, affair recovery, blended families, veterans, grief & loss, etc.). If a client requests to incorporate Christian spirituality into counseling, our therapists are well trained to do so. However, we are incredibly respectful of our clients’ faith beliefs, including those who profess faith and those who do not.

I am passionate about helping individuals ages 10+ with a variety of presenting issues, including: depression, anxiety, trauma, family of origin problems, communication/boundaries, issues of faith/spirituality, suicidality/self harm, and self-worth. I hope to help my clients accomplish the goals they set for themselves, and to walk with them as they establish healthy rhythms. In my work, I like to focus on holistic health - mentally, emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually. I believe above all, my clients need a safe space to be heard and to process what they are experiencing, and it is my greatest joy to provide this.

I’m glad you’re here! I see teens and adults with varying life struggles including anxiety, depression, affair recovery, addiction, low self esteem, etc. I assist those who are ready to tackle the underlying issues keeping them stuck, and identify and resolve unhealthy patterns in their relationships with self and others. As a former collegiate athlete, I am also passionate about seeing athletes struggling with sports performance, body shaming, performance anxiety, etc. I help athletes tackle mental barriers and connect mind to body to accomplish peak athletic performance.

I have experience working with teens and young adults processing trauma, depression, anxiety, attachment issues, relationship issues, substance use and abuse, and life transitions. My goal is to offer compassion and support to encourage clients to explore any barriers to their life ambitions. My hope is that clients feel seen and validated throughout each session. Therapy is designed to be an open space for safety, comfort, and a place to identify anxieties that create limitations. Everyone is capable of feeling whole and confident in pursuit of their best lives.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and certified school counselor with extensive experience in the public school system in varying capacities. Jarodd is a licensed professional counselor in Louisiana and Texas. Jarodd received his Master’s Degree in 2014 from The University of Louisiana Monroe in Marriage and Family Therapy / Counseling. Jarodd gained an extensive amount of knowledge and resources while working in this venue. His theoretical orientation is eclectic in nature, integrating concepts from Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. He uses a combination of techniques from these theories to provide treatment that is individualized to the client for his/her/their unique needs.

Through my experience over the last 12 years I have had the honor of supporting others in anxiety/depression, grief/loss, stress management, life transitions, couple’s counseling, teen issues, and more. As a spouse to a first responder and veteran, I know the challenges and joys that come with these roles. Through the years, I have grown a passion for helping first responders/veterans and their families as they navigate through those unique waters.

Ideally, a client voluntarily comes to therapy seeking assistance resolving the struggles they experience which are interfering with their daily functioning. They are willing to participate in the therapeutic process (i.e. coming to sessions, participating in the discussions, completing assignments in between sessions, and practicing skills in between sessions).
