Hi! I am TX board approved LMFT supervisor. I am multiculturally/bilingually trained in English and Spanish. I hope to provide every client that I meet with an open, inviting and calming space to explore and reflect within themselves and share their experiences. I incorporate my studies in neuroscience and my training as a family therapist into my practice. My trauma work has focused on processing childhood wounds and unmet needs as a child, sexual, physical, emotional and psychological trauma. I am a bilingual (French Creole speaker) licensed clinical social worker in New Jersey and Texas with over 16 years of experience serving unique mental health needs. I have extensive clinical experience with children, adolescents, adults, and family/relationship issues.

I specialize in working with couples and young adults who feel suffocated by anxious thoughts and overwhelmed by emotions. I especially enjoy helping individuals who are developing their racial or ethnic identities as well as interracial or multicultural couples work through the challenges of blending two cultures in marriage. It was there that I found both excitement and purpose in my work with clients who found themselves facing a wide variety of challenging life events and used this drive to complete an MA in Professional Counseling, gaining further certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I look forward to helping both teens and adults work on ways to move towards the goals they wish to meet!

Over the past couple of years, I have spent my time learning about how adolescents and young adults operate in society and what life transitions create stress and anxiety. I’m originally from Upstate New York and recently relocated to Texas. I graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with my Masters of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2008. I’ve worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, schools and private practice. I particularly enjoy working with adults ages 18 plus, couples and families. I am Tralynza, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I was born and raised in Memphis, TN, and I am a nine-year U.S. Air Force, active duty, war veteran. I earned my bachelor’s in social work at Texas A&M-Central Texas and a master’s in social work at Our Lady of the Lake University-Worden School of Social Service, with concentration on Hispanic children & families.
