For many of us, childhood was mentally and emotionally confusing. And we may find that these experiences impact us even now — they season how we relate to others, how we interact with our worlds, and even how we conceive of our future. Making sense of all of this requires a respect for very human needs like safety, stability, and positive and corrective emotional experiences. Therapy is often the single most helpful and effective intervention to those ends—it certainly has been healing for me. I hold a deep respect and honor for those who are able to show up to do this work.

I offer counseling sessions tailored to individuals and couples grappling with matters such as weight management and obesity, issues of trust, the relentless pursuit of perfection, emotional disconnection, generalized anxiety and depression. My therapeutic approach revolves around aiding individuals in their healing process. by illuminating the ways in which their cognitive patterns regarding self-perception and interpersonal dynamics shape their behavior, which may be contributing to feelings of stagnation and unfulfillment.

Only accepting telehealth clients at this time. Hello! My name is Randall Browning and my focus as a therapist is offering secular/non religious counseling. I work with individuals who do not want to have a religious element or the supernatural introduced into their therapy. I have worked with people recovering from Religious Trauma Syndrome, and coming out of toxic, abusive, and hyper religious backgrounds. People that are making transitional adjustments after being involved in religious and political cults have special challenges that can be effectively addressed in therapy.

My mantra is that therapy, good therapy, should create some sort of movement. Whether it’s helping you create actual, tangible change in your life or helping move along an internal conversation that you can’t seem to make progress in, my job is to help you get wherever you're trying to go.

I welcome both adults and adolescents to my practice. I work by creating a safe, affirming and warm environment for people to work on the issues they identify. I would like to work with people that want to explore why they are finding trouble in relationships or productivity to achieve an improved version of themselves.

If you yearn for more direction but haven’t been able to find clarity, that is the work I am passionate about doing. Great lives or relationships aren’t found, they are made. Do you struggle communicating when moments get intense or vulnerable? Do you understand your emotions and why you think or act the way you do? Have you been hurt by someone you care about? Or perhaps for some reason, you hurt them? Do you know what you want for your life, relationships, family, career? What about in a year? Or the next five years? Do you have regrets you need to work through?

Are you your own worst critic? Maybe you spend a lot of time beating yourself up, asking questions like “What’s wrong with me?” I know because I’ve worked with so many other people with similar struggles, and as a veteran, I’ve experienced it myself. Such negative thoughts are normal when you’ve never learned to combat them. Unfortunately, they contribute to many issues such as depression and anxiety. They can even worsen symptoms from trauma. The good news is you can change your patterns of thinking. One of my favorite quotes from Marcus Aurelius is “The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.”

Are you ready to let old patterns go and bring new energy into your life? Are you on a healing journey, but find yourself stuck in a particular area of your life? I believe that pleasure is a vital component of happiness, and that through therapy individuals and couples can learn the right tools to achieve mental, emotional, spiritual, and sexual health. I help folks explore who they are in a safe environment that is supportive of each person’s path to self-love and acceptance. I work with couples to address communication issues and help them to build stronger, more intimate connections.

You can experience deep, lasting change. Many people long to be different, but lack that “something” that will make the difference. They feel alone, ashamed, and hopeless. Others are stuck in continuing cycles of pain and feel disconnected from life and love. This doesn’t have to be you. It can be a challenge, but there is a way to heal and learn to enjoy life in an ever-deepening way. My goal as a therapist is to help my clients find that "something" that will make the difference, to help them know they are not alone, and to move beyond shame and doubt. In other words, my goal is to help my clients experience deep, lasting change.

As a REAL sports psychologist, I have a unique practice in that I specialize in working with athletes who have the desire to take their game to the next level. Being a competitive athlete helps me relate to other competitive people in sports or business. My primary focus is on confidence building and the elimination of performance anxiety. I use a 3 tiered approach to training: Perspective Training, Mental Skills Training, and Applied Settings (if applicable at a sporting location). I am the only professional to offer that kind of travel service. We are open until 9 PM M-F for scheduling.

The process of therapy can be a place to explore patterns that can keep us stuck or create suffering in our lives. My aim is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space that allows for this exploration to occur. This process tends to foster deeper insight and awareness, which leads to greater self-acceptance and more satisfying relationships. Part of our work together will be to identify patterns or obstacles that get in the way of your healing and progress. We will also collaborate to prioritize your goals and work at a pace that feels right for you.

Do you feel stuck or struggling to live your best life? Need someone you can confide in and speak openly to without judgment? Counseling is a safe space where you don’t have to pretend everything is “okay” or hide what you’re battling through. My hope is to create a space where you feel heard and seen and where you can openly share what is troubling you. Let us talk. I am here to listen and hear you.

My ideal client is someone who wants to find higher ground in their life, regardless of the darkness or peril that might include. I am 'gangster of the light' and unafraid to walk with persons who can't find anyone else with the courage and experience I bring to the table. Persons without extreme darkness or peril are also welcome in my practice.
