Hi there! I am an LPC-A and provisionally credentialed Art Therapist. I am Hispanic and bilingual in English and Spanish. As a therapist, I believe in meeting my clients where they are to establish a good therapeutic relationship in which we can begin to work and grow. Therapy is a safe space for us to work through the challenges of everyday life, as well as deeply rooted issues. Using respect, empathy, humor, and creativity, change can really begin in your life. As an art therapist, I strongly believe in using art wherever possible, as art is our universal language where we can achieve mutual understanding and self-discovery.

I enjoy helping people grow into their full potential. I believe the individual has within themselves the ability to live their best life but often times needs someone to coach them through obstacles. My approach to therapy is best described as eclectic and systematic. Everyone is different so no one treatment fits all and often times obstacles are complex. Element Counseling has a team of therapists providing individual and couples therapy using a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet your needs. We offer holistic and empirically based treatment focused on specific client needs. Our client focus is veterans and first responders, LGBTQ+ community members, perinatal mental health and women's issues, Autism, complex trauma, and behavioral problems.

I have a straight-forward, solution-based focus on making progress quickly. I am known for helping parents reduce conflicts with their sons, in particular, and have an emphasis on making parenting boys much more enjoyable and effective. I also have extensive experience in helping couples become more understandable to one another, and in providing them with relationship skills which enable both individuals to have their needs met.
