Deborah Netz, LPC- I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents. I work with children struggling in areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma and ADD/ADHD. I have significant experience in working with children struggling with behavioral issues as well as those who are on the autism spectrum. I also work with children suffering from grief related to losing a loved one.

As a Registered Play Therapist, I have a passion of working with young children (ages 3+) utilizing the power of play to allow children to process through challenges and experiences and to learn and practice new skills. I love working with parents to help strengthen the relationship between parent and child that can be challenging during trying times. I also work often with adults and teens to provide support though the myriad of concerns and struggles that arise throughout life with infertility being one of my specialities.

I work with adults and children ages 10 & under who are struggling with difficult emotions and/or challenges like stress, grief, anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavior problems, attachment issues, parenting, and more. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy and we need a neutral person to help us see things more clearly, and encourage and guide us to where we want to be.

My primary focus is person-centered counseling, however, I have found cognitive, behavioral, and emotional aspects of our mental health and what we know, determine how we navigate our worlds. I have been in education for 35 years and served adolescents as a counselor for the past 20 years. My areas of interest include anxiety, panic attacks, grief and phobias that clients often experience. Dr. Falkstein has a clinical team that works with him that includes several other psychologists and therapists. We offer evaluation services and therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Falkstein has worked in the mental health field since 1988 and has conducted several thousand evaluations over the past 25 years. Unlike most psychologists, Dr. Falkstein has experience and knowledge as a psychologist in private practice and as a school psychologist actually working in the schools.

I enjoy working with children under 12, adolescents as well as adults on coping with anxiety and depression. When it comes to treatment, I believe in ensuring that each treatment style is based on individual client needs and making sure that the approach is effective for them and will always offer unconditional positive regard, acceptance, cultural humility, and respect.

I am skilled in providing intensive therapy to adults, couples, and children across various mental health settings. As a counselor in private practice for over 35 years, I enjoy working with all ages, children through elderly persons. I have particular interest in helping people cope with and reduce anxiety, panic, and post-traumatic stress, often utilizing hypnosis or EMDR therapies. Dr. Abbassi is an expert in couple's communication and sexual issues. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist(LMFT), Certified Sex Therapist by American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and approved Supervisor of LPC and LMFT. He works with individual (children and Adults) in the area of depression, anxiety and general life difficulties. Dr. Abbassi has been in private practice for over 26 years. As a full Professor at local Institute of Higher Education, Dr. Abbassi teaches and provides supervision to Counseling Interns for both LPC & LMFT boards.
