I provide a non-judgmental, supportive environment both in person and online based on your needs. I seek to understand your concerns for yourself or your relationship through the use of evidence-based practice and building trust and respect in the therapy practice. Therapy is a partnership where I have learned many skills, but you are the person who knows yourself the best. Growth is built on honesty and transparency and we will use strategies and techniques that aid in healing and clarity within yourself and with each other if you are working with a partner. You may feel isolated or alone or may be struggling. I am here to help.

I offer in person office sessions and telehealth sessions because I know as women we are busy, and convenience is a priority.
Specializing in Women’s Mental Health (Postpartum Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Infertility, Mom Guilt, Perfectionism, Post Divorce, Perinatal Mental Health, Compassion Fatigue, Imposter Syndrome.) Taking care of ourselves as women can be hard. We take care of others, but we neglect to take time for ourselves. The problem with this is that if we don’t take time to care for ourselves, we lose our ability to care for anyone else. We suffer, and then those around us suffer as well. How is what you are dealing with affecting you, your children, your relationships, your work? How will it continue to affect you if you don’t seek help?

Do you feel lost, confused, or defeated? Have you wondered when things will get better? Are you tired of feeling stuck without direction on how to create lasting change? Through out life you will experience different seasons that leave you feeling inadequate, incapable, and unqualified. Maybe you're a couple stuck in the same fight, in the same cycle ending in the same result. Maybe you're a mom feeling overwhelmed, overstretched, and over touched. Maybe you're a woman feeling overlooked, exhausted, and anxious. Regardless of your situation, it feels the same- frustrating, helpless and lonely.

At times, we need perspective, support, and guidance to navigate the world in which we live. I believe there is something to learn from everyone and I would be honored to assist you or your loved one in the journey of self-discovery, growth, and healing. From a young age, I have always been passionate about helping others. My passion for people and connection led me to earning a degree in counseling. My journey was greatly impacted when I was personally diagnosed with cancer. Determined to help others see the same hope and healing, I wanted to use my experience to bring someone else out of their own darkness.

Have you lost your way? Perhaps your life was headed in one direction when an unexpected event changed the direction of your life and you feel alone and disoriented. Or perhaps you are in a relationship with someone that you love that has become mentally abusive and you have lost the person inside that you used to be. Or maybe you have changed over the years through life’s experiences and the career that you once loved no longer fits you and are looking for a new path but have no idea where to start. If any of these stories sound familiar, just know that while you may be lost, you are not alone.

Things seem dark; you may be overwhelmed but you're not alone. I work to create an environment where hope is renewed and healing occurs. Sometimes it takes reaching the point of desperation to take this leap into new and unknown territory. Many clients find me when they believe they have tried everything, nothing seems to have worked, and they are ready to give up. I firmly believe healing is always possible, no matter the circumstances or depth of trauma, and there is resilience and courage within us all, waiting to be uncovered. My specialized trainings include: Gottman Level 1 & 2, Brainspotting Level 1, TBRI.

I enjoy working with and have sought out specialized post-graduate training for working with couples, survivors of trauma [EMDR trained] and both men & women with eating disorders [anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder].
Not accepting new clients. My focus is on creating a treatment plan based on the individual client’s needs, strengths, resources and goals. Helping people get connected with their community and other professional resources that will help them reach their goals more effectively is critical. I work well with both men's challenges and and women's issues. We often get closed in by a set of assumptions about ourselves and our relationships that keep us from reaching truly attainable changes. It is exciting to watch the growth and change that people are able to make as they discover hidden resources for transformation within themselves.

As a therapist, I am trained in theories and techniques of counseling. However, it is the all important interaction between the client and myself where the art of therapy exists. This art is the rapport established by my value for each client and a high regard for the distinctive qualities they bring to the sessions and their own unique experiences. My practice includes: divorce, pre-marital, marital, family dynamic issues with specialization in life changes from traumatic violence & sexual abuse/dysfunctions & addictions. I believe in encountering clients where they are, with humble respect for what they bring into sessions.
