He has a BA in Biology and a BS in Public Health from Schreiner University and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M-San Antonio. Esmeralda Barraza is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been practicing since 2019. Growing up Esmeralda heard stigmas and false narratives about getting help. There was a shame associated with receiving counseling. Esmeralda now knows that providing education about what counseling could be, could help save a life. Outside of work, Esmeralda enjoys spending quality time with family, baking/cooking, and attempting to farm.

Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor. As a native Tennesean, she earned both her Bachelor’s of Psychology and Master’s of Community Counseling from the University of Tennessee. Her professor once said, “Play is a child’s most natural language.” That phrase, along with her love of the children, solidified Ashley’s career path. A job opportunity called her to Texas where she fell in love with breakfast tacos, blue bonnets and wide open spaces. She worked at an inpatient psychiatric hospital that exposed her to a variety of clinical diagnoses in the child and adolescent population.
