Cohen Military Family Clinic at Metrocare provides quality, accessible, and comprehensive mental health care to post-9/11 Veterans, service members, and families regardless of insurance or ability to pay. Services are available to any person who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces, including the National Guard and Reserves, regardless of role or discharge status. Hello! I'm a bilingual therapist (Spanish/English) and I specialize in trauma recovery and attachment wound healing through an Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens. Being culturally sensitive, I integrate diverse perspectives into therapy, acknowledging the unique influence of culture on each person's healing journey. With a focus of IFS, I guide clients in exploring their inner dynamics, fostering self-compassion and creating pathways to holistic recovery.

Counseling is supposed to be convenient, effective and helpful. Through evidenced based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and DBT, we are able to process trauma, explore and establish coping skills, and slowly but surely, start living again. I've worked in the nonprofit sector helping victims of domestic violence as well as other issues to include addiction, personality disorders, and family conflict. I work with the LGBTQ community and take pride in working with multicultural clients.
