I am a licensed clinical psychologist with 30 years of experience treating adults and seniors suffering from trauma, the pain of loss and grief, low self-esteem, and challenging life transitions. In addition to my years in private practice, I worked at Jefferson Hospital in geriatrics; served as Clinical Director at Voyage House working with at-risk youth and members of the LQBTQ+ community; and as a Disability Specialist at Delaware Technical Community College, I was honored with the Governor's Award for my "Service to Individuals with Disabilities".
My approach is eclectic incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, core-energetics, and aspects of internal family systems. I tailor my approach to help you achieve healing and a return to well-being. Life's traumas and losses can certainly muddy our thinking and wound our hearts and relationships. But there is hope.
Building a safe and trusting relationship is the foundation of any effective therapy. As we create a safe place together, we will address your long held fears and emotional pain. I invite you to reach out so you may begin on your path to wellness, self-compassion, and self-acceptance.
