Our anger management group is contemporary in that our approach also serves as a carthetic release (a means to safely vent) and we are parallel with todays issues, not laboring on yesterdays ideology which the majority of you were not even born to have experience; todays education for todays issues. Our proactive approach carries with it a clinical ambiance that encourages participation therefore learning and progressing.

Probation, CPS Chemical Dependency Groups
All groups are coeducational with a maximum of 20 clients including virtual; of Domestic Violence which are same sex programs only. Group members will be working out of two major State approved curriculums which is supplemented with additional client centered curriculums. Clients will have the opportunity to have access of relative curriculum with occasional "homework". Clients are required to share and be proactive in group; all groups are confidential; "what is said in group stays in group." Clients will be given two copies of Group Rules, one to be signed and filed.

All groups are coeducational and all three are inter-changeable with one another. The groups by themselves are more informative and intense. All three groups embark upon causality to those issues that are specific to unhealthy or troublesome behavior; e.g., substance abuse leads to aggressive behavior, the lack of "positive" esteem could lead to substance abuse usage or anger issues. Cornerstones to the aforementioned groups are Cognitive enhancement or behavior modification, coping skills, mindfulness skills and other traditional modalities designed for the client based on treatment plan and assessment.
