If you are worried about a traumatic event that has happened to you or your child and are wondering how you are going to move forward, I can help. I provide a safe and supportive environment, so you can learn the skills needed to cope with life challenges, find healing, and most importantly – increase self-efficacy.
Other times clients come to see me because there has been a change that has created tension or led to stress, worry, or behavioral issues. Whether it's a life transition, starting a new school, losing a loved one, or parents separating or divorcing, change is difficult.
Having a support person in your life to help you adjust to new situation can make all the difference. People who meet me often find me warm and engaging. I like to incorporate various strategies including art therapy when it can help people express themselves and manage the big thoughts and feelings that come up when life challenges us.
