Hello, my name is Kalen, and I appreciate your interest in my profile page as well as your desire to seek help! Given you're here there's likely something hindering you from living the life you desire. These blockages generally manifest most vividly in our relationships. The purpose of therapy should be to help consciously highlight, process and integrate those obstacles that keep us stuck in our development. I consider it my duty as counselor to aid in this journey by inviting you into a relationship grounded in honesty, care, respect, commitment, professionalism and a fair dose of humor to help lighten the load along the way!
My "client-led" approach stems from my play therapy work with children as well as my own life experience, having witnessed firsthand the intuitive healing power of the body and soul. Additionally, my training as a wilderness therapist working with families in remote southern Utah and Colorado helped fortify my personal belief in attachment, art and myth.
