Hi, I'm Beth, and I'm so glad you are here. As your therapist, my job is to work together with you to figure out struggles and patterns that are holding you back, and develop new skills towards living a more joyful, authentic, and fulfilling life. My style is warm, playful, and down-to-earth. I believe in the power of relationship and creativity to create positive change. I think it is a sign of true bravery to seek support and I look forward to meeting you!
In therapy, I use different tools to help you identify your strengths and build new skills. These include talk therapy as well as mindfulness, somatic (body-based) and the creative arts. My approach includes Narrative Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, mindfulness practices, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Attachment Theory.
I have extensive experience working with trauma survivors, especially survivors of childhood sexual abuse; queer and trans folks; young adults; people with ADHD; and people navigating pregnancy and parenting.
