Welcome! I work to create a non-judgmental safe space to make individuals feel comfortable with opening up and making treatment individual to you. Often, we can lose sight of the things that make our life rich and meaningful because life gets messy. I aim to learn about the unique aspects of yourself that make you who you are in order to best treat you. I adapt components of branches of therapy such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and EMDR to meet your needs and develop new and effective strategies. My ultimate goal is to empower you to meet your goals, connect to your values, and feel you have control back in your life.
I work on building relationships with individuals and families across the lifespan to help them feel safe and move forward through the things that tend to get us stuck. My specializations include eating disorders/disordered eating, body-image/self-worth, trauma, LGBTQ+, anxiety, relationships, grief/loss, depression, boundary setting, and emerging adulthood.
I believe in the healing power of humor, equality, and kindness, all of which I hope you will find sprinkled throughout our sessions. Through your choice to work with me, we will work on developing coping strategies, techniques, and therapeutic goals to restore balance and purpose to your life.

Most forms of problems I work on integrating with ACT skill building. When it comes to addressing trauma, I typically approach things from a route of EMDR, although some ACT is integrated into this as well. Both approaches include connecting to our bodies and noticing our feelings in this moment, both physically and mentally, and creating strategies to raise our awareness of the here and now.

I often use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy within sessions to help clients connect with themselves and figure out ways to engage with the world around them. We work together to find ways to connect with your values and enrich your lives through behavior. EMDR and trauma-informed care frequently also help clients understand themselves and effectively make changes they desire.
